Erie native Sydnee Groenendaal has a primarily water centered background in the outdoors. She spent over 15 years sailing traditional wooden vessels around all five Great Lakes before transitioning fully to land-based work. She brings a long history and deep love for experiential learning to her role as Assistant General Manager at ASCEND Erie. She's grateful to be part of bringing the sport of climbing to Erie and showing folks that climbing is for everybody.
