Join your fellow climbers along with the ASCEND Routesetting team in our first inaugural Climbing Fantasy League. Follow along with the World Cup Season, place bets on who you think will win each comp and the season titles, and win bragging rights and some fun prizes!
It’s free to participate, and we’ll even host a couple watch parties throughout the season so that you can tell the routesetters which boulders they should try to replicate.
DETAILS
COST: Free!
FORMAT: Submit a Google Form each week (<5 minutes) that a World Cup is being hosted to share your guesses for which competitors will make it to Semi-Finals, Finals, and eventually onto the podium.
SCORING: You will earn points based on each correct guess you’ve made, and they will be added to your season tally, building your ‘Ranking’ within the Fantasy League. No points can be lost during the weekly rounds, only gained.
TIMELINE: The season runs until early November. The earlier you start participating, the more points you can accrue towards your Ranking! Predictions for each round will be available for one week prior to the first day of the competition.
BONUS: Complete your Season Predictions prior to (DATE) to place your long-term bets on who will win the Season Titles (Boulder Champion / Lead Champion) to earn (or lose!) big points.
