Join the Youngstown, OH climbing community and celebrate the opening of Bears Den, a bouldering area conveniently located in Mill Creek Park. The Ohio Climbers Coalition (OCC) will be providing resources and education about Bears Den and other regional climbing areas, as well as hosting a raffle, seeking memberships, and giving away some sweet swag! There are no additional fees to compete, but you either need to be an ASCEND member or purchase a day pass. Climbing will not be permitted past 8p, once the film starts.

V-point + dead hang competition from 5p-7pClimbing will be open to the public until 7:30p and then the film festivities will begin. You do not have to compete in the comps and can just climb on your own with no impact.There will be one winner for the longest dead hang on the hangboard jugs, and three winners for the v-point comp, one person in each ages cataegory of 0-16 | 17-39 | 40+. All winners will receive a $25 ASCEND Gift Card!Introductions, competition results, raffle, announcements from 7p-8p.
